SILENT STAR The Film Society of Lincoln Center presents a screening of Georg Pabst’s “Diary of a Lost Girl” (1931).The film, about a beautiful girl who cannot escape her troubled past, commemorates the centenary of featured actress Louise Brooks. A friend of the 20th-century icon, film historian Peter Cowie, signs copies of his book “Louise Brooks: Lulu Forever” (Rizzoli).
