GOURMAIN EVENT New York’s restaurants celebrate the city’s incomparable food and its bid to host the 2012 Olympics by offering prix-fixe lunches for $20.12 and dinners for $35. Restaurant Week has more than 200 participants, including Aquavit (65 E. 55th St., between Park and Madison avenues), Spice Market (403 W. 13th St., between Ninth Ave. and Washington St.), and Terrace in the Sky (400 W. 119th St., between Amsterdam Ave. and Morningside Dr.).
