CRABS AT MINNOW The Minnow’s Fourth Annual Blue Crab Festival offers diners the chance to enjoy a variety of seasonal foods: crab boiled in beer, with Old Bay seasoning and Mediterranean spices; southern sides such as sweet corn on the cob and pancetta-studded potato salad; watermelon slices, and carnival-style funnel cakes. The Mad Hatters will perform. Saturday through Sunday, July 24, Saturdays and Sundays, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., the Minnow, 442 Ninth St., between Sixth and Seventh avenues, Brooklyn, 718-832-5500, $30 general, $15 children.
MARK ON MONDAY The sommelier at Mark’s Restaurant, Richard Dean, and Rowald Hepp, the managing director and vintner of Schloss Vollrads, the world’s oldest winery, offer a tasting, seminar, and four-course dinner.
