SALUTE TO SWINE Il Buco restaurant hosts its outdoor Pig and Apple festival, Sagra di Maiale (literally, “festival of pork”), in celebration of the autumn equinox. The specialties include heritage pork from North Carolina, New York State apples, barbecue roast pork, porchetta panini, and apple pork sausage. Today, 1-7 p.m., outside of Il Buco, 47 Bond St., between Lafayette Street and the Bowery, 212-533-1932, $7 a tasting.
ORGANIC WINES Merchant’s House Museum hosts an eco-wine tasting in its 19th-century garden to celebrate the last day of summer. The earth-friendly wines are from Astor Wines & Spirits.
