DRESS UP AND DANCE The Central Park Conservancy presents its annual Halloween ball, featuring cocktails, a seated dinner, dancing, and a costume parade with celebrity judges. Tonight, 7 p.m., Central Park, Rumsey Playfield, East 72nd Street off Fifth Avenue, 212-310-6691, $1,000-$1,500.
HAUNTED HOUSE Morris-Jumel Mansion, Manhattan’s oldest house, offers its annual Halloween family event, which includes scary stories and ghostly games. Everyone is encouraged to come in costume.
