DECK THE HISTORIC HALLS Each of the 11 period rooms of the Morris-Jumel Mansion, Manhattan’s oldest house, are decked out in a tableau depicting a historic holiday tradition popular in early New York. Guided tours are offered throughout the event and the decorations will remain on display through January 8. ST. CECILIA’S ‘MESSIAH’ David Randolph conducts the St. Cecilia Chorus and Orchestra in a performance of Handel’s “Messiah.”The holiday concert is part of the chorus’s 100th anniversary season. Harpsichordist Marijo Newman is joined by vocal soloists Joyce Guyer, Jan Wilson, Randal Rushing, and Peter Castaldi. VOICES FROM ALL OVER Cantori New York presents its annual “Holiday Celebration,” a seasonal music concert with a 40-voice ensemble. The program includes traditional Christmas carols, Chanukah songs, and works from Africa, Argentina, and China. CHANUKAH PERFORMANCES Jewish artists including “Saturday Night Live” star Rachel Dratch,members of the female rap group Northern State, and a writer for “The Daily Show,” Eric Drysdale, among others, perform a “Jewcy Chanukah” benefit concert for Natan, a philanthropic organization that aims to address important questions of Jewish life.
