BACH AND BEYOND The inaugural concert of Mannes College’s yearlong festival “Bach and the Baroque Legacy” includes Bach’s Prelude and Fugue in EFlat major for Organ, Handel’s “Let the Bright Seraphim from Samson,” Beethoven’s Piano Sonata Piano No. 31 in A-flat major, Mendelssohn’s Sonata for Organ in A major op. 65, and Purcell’s “The Blessed Virgin’s Expostulation for Soprano and Continuo.” The program will be performed by Mannes students and the organist at the Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church, Andrew Hendersen. Tonight, 7 p.m., Saint Andrew Music Society of Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church, 921 Madison Ave. at 74th Street, 212-288-8920, $15 general, $10 seniors and students.
