DJ AND DESIGN Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum continues its series of sunset parties. A DJ spins tunes, food is served, and guests can peruse the ongoing exhibit “Extreme Textiles: Designing for High Performance.” Friday, 6-9 p.m., Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, Arthur Ross Terrace and Garden, 2 E. 91st St., between Madison and Fifth avenues, 212-849-8349, free with museum admission, $10 general, $7 seniors and students.
