OHMMM … The Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art presents Chanting and Chatting, a meditation and discussion session with the monks of the Staten Island Buddhist Vihara. After chanting, which is a form of Buddhist meditation and prayer, visitors can ask the monks about Buddhist philosophy and practice. Sunday, 3-4 p.m., Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art, 388 Lighthouse Ave., between Terrace and Manor courts, Staten Island, 718-987-3500, $10 general, $8 members, $5 children, reservations recommended.
