BENEFICIAL LAUGHS “Comedy Cares for the Homeless,” a benefit performance in conjunction with the New York Comedy Festival, features comedians Louis CK, Caroline Rhea, Patrice O’Neal, and others. The gala benefits the nonprofit organization Care for the Homeless, whose volunteers provide medical, dental, and mental care for the city’s homeless population.
