I SPY The New York Public Library presents a conversation to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the founding of Spy magazine. Editors Graydon Carter and Kurt Anderson, and a longtime contributor to the groundbreaking publication, George Kalogerakis, are featured guests. A press critic, David Carr, is moderator of the event. STRANGERS WITH PLACE CARDS Symphony Space presents Amy Sedaris, who offers offbeat tips on entertaining culled from her book “I Like You: Hospitality Under the Influence” (Warner). VOLLARD’S INFLUENCE The 16th annual International Fine Print Dealers Association’s Print Fair, running through Sunday, features “Vollard as Publisher: From Cezanne to Picasso,” a discussion inspired by the recent exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art inspired by Ambroise Vollard’s patronage of 19th and 20th-century artists. Speakers include a senior editor at Art in America, Faye Hirsch, and a senior curator at the Baltimore Museum of Art, Jay Fisher.
