BOYS, GIRLS & THE BARD The Shakespeare Society presents “Boys Will Be Girls,” a performance and discussion that examines cross-dressing and sexual role-playing in Shakespeare. The evening will feature Best Actor Oscar nominee David Strathairn (“Good Night, and Good Luck”), Tony Award winner Jefferson Mays (“I Am My Own Wife”), and Broadway actor Michael Cumpsty. Members of the Queen’s Company will perform highlights from their acclaimed all-female production of “The Taming of the Shrew.” Tonight, 6:30-8 p.m., the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College, East 68th Street between Park and Lexington avenues, 212-772-4448, $25-$40, reservations strongly suggested.
