BEHIND CLOSED DOORS Private lives threaten to shatter the relationships of three couples in Gerald Zipper’s new drama, “Secrets.” The three couples almost combust during a highly charged dinner party, spurred on by the revelations of another friend who plans to leave his wife. MAKING MUSIC NYU’s department of music and performing arts professions in the Steinhardt School presents the world premiere of the opera “Odin.” The spoken word opera, composed by Donald Knaack, will feature 10 percussionists performing on more than 250 pieces of junk and recycled materials. OEDIPUS’S DAUGHTER VS. REX The rebellious daughter of Oedipus goes head-tohead with Creon, king of Thebes, in Sophocles’s “Antigone,” which receives a dramatic reading presented by the EgoPo/Cocteau New Classics Reading Series.
