TriBeCa galleries stay open late for the “Second Wednesdays” art event. Art lovers can enjoy drawings and paintings by Ana Patrica Palacios (Latin collector, 153 Hudson St., between Hubert and Laight streets, 212-334-7813), oil-on-aluminum paintings by German artist Matthias Koester (Pablo’s Birthday, 84 Franklin St., between Broadway and Church Street, 212-219-7750), and new abstract paintings by Karen Barth (Cheryl Pelavin Fine Arts, 13 Jay St. at Staple Street, 212-925-9424). DJ Asho, who hosts a weekly hiphop radio show in Havana, provides tunes at a gallery displaying works by Afro-Cuban artist Alberto Casado (Art in General, 79 Walker St. at Cortlandt Street, 212-219-0473).
