Congressman Renews Call for UFO Disclosure as Lawmakers Seek Hidden Military Videos

The push for government transparency regarding extraterrestrial life and unidentified anomalous phenomena is reaching a fever pitch on Capitol Hill. Leading the charge is Congressman Tim Burchett, who this week issued a chilling warning to the American public about what he says the government is hiding.Appearing on Newsmax, Mr. Burchett, who serves on the House Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, discussed recent classified briefings he received that he claims would shock the nation.“I’ve been briefed by just about every alphabet agency there is, and I’ll just tell you this, if they would release the things that I’ve seen, you would stay up at — you’d be up at night worrying about or — thinking about this stuff,” Mr. Burchett told Newsmax host Rob Finnerty.Mr. Burchett said a recent briefing he attended was so alarming that it could cause widespread panic. “We just need to disclose it all. I’m sick of it, you’re — ah, well — I was briefed; I will just tell you this, I was briefed last week on an issue — or excuse me, two weeks ago — and it would’ve set the earth on — this country would’ve come unglued, I think, if they would’ve heard all that I’d heard.”The Tennessee Republican has been a vocal advocate for declassification, insisting that the government is actively hiding evidence of alien life. “I think there’s a cover-up,” Mr. Burchett said earlier this year. “There are tens of millions of dollars that we’ve spent investigating these things. We’ve had departments tell us that they have recovery units, but they won’t release full reports. A former congressman, Matt Gaetz of Florida, recently alleged the existence of a secret military program aimed at breeding alien-human hybrids, claiming a military whistleblower gave him direct information about the project. “I had someone come and brief me who was in a military uniform, worked for the United States Army, that was briefing me on the locations of hybrid breeding programs where captured aliens were breeding with humans to create some hybrid race that could engage in intergalactic communication,” Mr. Gaetz said. “An actual uniformed member of the United States Army briefed me on that.”Mr. Gaetz alleged that extraterrestrials in custody were being forced to mate with humans abducted from war zones or migrant caravans and that there are up to a dozen of these breeding facilities operating nationwide.The push for answers extends beyond rhetoric. Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna this week issued a formal letter to the Secretary of Defense demanding the release of 46 military videos that she believes depict advanced non-human craft. According to the Florida Republican’s letter, these phenomena are a danger to America, as their presence “in and around the sensitive airspaces of US military installations poses a threat to the security of the armed forces and their readiness.”Insiders claim the unreleased footage includes thermal sensor radar, satellite images, and clips of “unidentified submerged objects” swarming highly classified U.S. submarines, with some craft demonstrating “instantaneous acceleration” that defies modern physics.President Trump has also pledged to force disclosure. “Based on the tremendous interest shown,” Mr. Trump posted earlier this year on Truth Social, “I will be directing the Secretary of War and other relevant departments and agencies to begin the process of identifying and releasing government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and any and all other information connected to these highly complex but extremely interesting and important matters. GOD BLESS AMERICA!”The quest for information has taken a darker turn involving the sudden deaths and disappearances of prominent U.S. scientists and high-clearance lab employees.NASA scientist Frank Maiwald died mysteriously in July 2024, with no public cause of death or autopsy. Anthony Chavez and Melissa Casias, both affiliated with the Los Alamos National Laboratory, vanished without a trace months apart, leaving behind their wallets, keys, and wiped cell phones. Monica Reza, a director at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, also went missing while hiking.Most alarming is the disappearance of a retired Air Force general, William Neil McCasland, who oversaw top secret nuclear and UFO-related projects, and the murders of astrophysicist Carl Grillmair and nuclear fusion researcher Nuno Loureiro.Mr. Burchett has explicitly linked these incidents to an alleged UFO cover-up, suggesting individuals in the know are being silenced. “There have been several others throughout the country that have disappeared under suspicious circumstances. I think we ought to be paying attention to it,” Mr. Burchett said, before pointedly adding, “For the record, I’m not suicidal.”
