SUSHI ON 15TH Marco Moreira occupied the space of the old Tocqueville (15 E. 15th St., between Fifth Avenue and Union Square West) even after he moved his restaurant a couple of doors down. Now he has turned his attention to the old space, where he plans to open a Japanese-oriented restaurant to be called 15 East. (Mr. Moreira is a trained sushi chef.) It is scheduled to open around the end of the year.

DOWNTOWN DEALS If you have been meaning to check out Roy’s, Harry’s Cafe, MarkJoseph Steakhouse, or any of a couple dozen other restaurants south of Chambers Street, you can do so at discounted prices next week.

Starting on Monday, restaurants participating in Downtown for Dinner are offering $30 meals each night of the week. For a full list of participating restaurants, visit downtownny.com.

SQUASH HARVEST For those in more of Midtown East mood next week, Jimmy Lappalainen, the new chef at Riingo (205 E. 45th St., between Second and Third avenues, 212-867-4200), is celebrating the kabocha squash harvest all next week with a $35, three-course menu. The menu includes duck breast with kabocha squash chutney, and a white chocolate and passion fruit mousse with kabocha and vanilla.

FISH FEAST The Mermaid Inn (96 Second Ave., between 5th and 6th streets 212-674-5870) is extending its Wednesday fish fry, introduced last month, through the rest of the year. For $19 you get fried cod, cole slaw, grilled corn on the cob, and hushpuppies. Old Milwaukee and Schlitz beers are available, too for $2 each.

ANOTHER BURGER Goodburger opens its second location (636 Lexington Ave at 54th St., 212-838-6000) tomorrow.

CHINESE COCKTAILS Philippe (33 E. 60th St., between Park and Madison avenues 212-644-8885), has added several new cocktails to its list that reflect the restaurant’s modern Chinese cuisine.

Among them are the Angry Dragon which combines Ketel One Citroen with sake, jasmine syrup, yuzu, and muddled dragon fruit; and the Shen Lung, which is Asian pear muddled with basil and mixed with lemon juice, calamansi-honey syrup, and Maker’s Mark. They are $15 each.

GREEK LOUNGE Parea (36 E. 20th St., between Park Avenue South and Broadway, 212-777-8448) is expanding with the addition of the 40-seat Kava Lounge downstairs. It opens this Monday and will stay open until 4 a.m. seven days a week. The focus will be on Greek-inspired appetizers from chef Michael Symon paired with a variety of ouzos and Greek wines.
