AN EARLY OPENING Landmarc opened its Time Warner Center location (10 Columbus Circle, third floor, 212-823-6123) on Monday, a week ahead of schedule.

Chef-owner Marc Murphy said he wants the new restaurant to have the same family-friendly neighborhood feel as the original Landmarc, in TriBeCa, and so do his landlords.

“The Time Warner Center wanted a restaurant that was a little bit more accessible” than the fine dining restaurants that occupy most of the rest of the shopping center’s restaurant space, Mr. Murphy said. “We have a lot of high chairs here.”

Unlike the TriBeCa Landmarc, the new restaurant is open for breakfast, at 7 a.m. Like the old one, it stays open until 2 a.m.

ALL TOGETHER NOW Insieme in the Michelangelo hotel (777 Seventh Ave. at 51st Street, 212-582-1310) opened Monday. The 75-seat brainchild of chef Marco Canora and sommelier Paul Grieco of Hearth is named for the Italian word “together.” That refers to the restaurant’s two menus, one classic Italian, the other a more modern take on it.

PASTRY PROFUSION Alberto Mezzoli is the new pastry chef at Orsay (1057 Lexington Ave. at 75th Street, 212-517-6400). He was formerly the pastry chef of San Pietro — and before that the pastry chef of Giaffredo, a cake shop in Belluno, in Italy’s Veneto region. New pastries on Orsay’s menu include coffee bavarois with saffron and honey center, and poached pear with lemon and ginger-spiced bread. Mr. Mezzoli will make celebratory cakes on request.

AFTER THE FIRE Bond St (6 Bond St., between Broadway and Lafayette Street, 212-777-2500), which was closed due to a fire on March 13, reopened for dinner Monday. It will reopen for lunch within the next few days.

THE BEST INTENTIONS InTent (231 Mott St., between Prince and Spring streets) has closed, according to its publicists. Chef-owner François Payard did not respond to calls regarding the cause.
