Rome and Berlin, Politico adds, “style themselves as the ‘two main industrial European nations’ and have condemned delays to the Mercosur agreement.”Signora Meloni’s astute governance and worldview align with Herr Merz’s priorities. If Italy’s premier has met her carpe diem moment, it would seem the future will be kind to the West because Giorgia Meloni is writing it.
