An employee at a Department of Education counseling facility was arrested yesterday and charged with raping a female student, investigators said.

A case manager at the New Beginnings School in Brooklyn, which is located in and jointly run by the Madison Square Boys and Girls Club, was accused of having oral sex and sexual intercourse with an underage female student, according to the city school district’s special commissioner of investigation, Richard Condon.

The case manager, Ivory Gordon, 24, faces a four-year prison sentence if convicted.

A spokeswoman for the Department of Education, Dina Paul Parks, said the department had “moved swiftly to ensure that Mr. Gordon was removed from the New Beginnings School.”
