‘Death Tax of the Times’
The Sun’s latest editorial on the death tax gave me a considerable surprise [Editorial, “Death Tax of the Times,” April 9, 2008].
You see, I always thought the term “little guy” applied to me.
Now I learn that I have been flattering myself considerably.
The term is clearly defined in your editorial as those with a net worth between 1 and 10 million dollars.
Fascinating, but it leaves me wondering: What adjective would you use to describe me? The tiny guy? The microscopic guy?
Given the size of my net worth in relation to the little people, these adjectives seem totally inadequate.
