Among many New York City mothers, the Bugaboo stroller is perhaps as revered as staples such as the pacifier and Serendipity 3. This September, the Bugaboo Bee ($529), an innovative, one-piece design that is more compact than its predecessors, arrives in North American stores. At 17 pounds and 20 inches in width, the Bee is easily folded and slender enough to fit through the narrowest shop aisle. The stroller’s seat also includes a swivel feature that allows adjustment to four positions. Still, the Bee shares many of the practical features of the pricier Bugaboo strollers, such as the Frog and the Gecko, including adjustable handlebars and a roomy storage basket. The Bee, which is currently available for preorder, comes in five colors. For more information, and to purchase, go to bugaboo.com.
