President Trump’s former National Security Advisor, John Bolton, denounced President Biden Wednesday for passivity in the face of multiple attacks launched by Iranian proxy militias against American troops in Syria and Iraq.

Mr. Bolton posted a blistering social media post accusing Mr. Biden of inaction after American bases were targeted by rockets and attack drones. A Pentagon official reported that these attacks by Iranian-sponsored militias constituted an “uptick” in hostile activity.

“The Biden administration says it will respond if Iran attacks US troops,” Mr. Bolton said. “But, since October 17, Iran has attacked our troops at least 13 times.  Biden did nothing.  Don’t those attacks count?  No more excuses, Mr. President.  This is your red line.”

According to the Washington Post, at least 24 Yanks have been wounded during these assaults. A Pentagon spokesman, Brigadier General Pat Ryder, dispelled any doubt about the orchestration of these attacks. “We know these groups are groups that are backed by Iran,” he told the Voice of America. “We will ultimately hold Iran responsible.”

Last week, a United States Navy destroyer patrolling the Red Sea shot down four ballistic missiles and numerous drones launched by Iranian-backed Houthi militia forces in Yemen. According to sources at the Pentagon, the interdicted Houthi drones and missiles were flying northwards “potentially toward targets in Israel.”

On October 24, news of an attack against the American base at al-Thanf in Southwest Syria forced President Biden to interrupt  a press conference on economic policy. The Islamic Resistance of Iraq, a Teheran-sponsored Shia militia, promised that its drone attacks will “herald more operations” against U.S. troops because of America’s support for Israel during the current conflict in Gaza.
