PETER KOVACS and JACK WEISS

Mr. Kovacs has been a newspaper editor in Louisiana for more than three decades at the New Orleans Times-Picayune and the Advocate of Baton Rouge. Mr. Weiss represented major news organizations and journalists in a legal career that spanned six decades, including as a partner in Gibson Dunn’s New York office and as outside counsel to the Wall Street Journal. Earlier, he practiced law in Louisiana where he represented the Times-Picayune for more than twenty years.
