Simon Collins, a former creative director for Nike’s Asia Pacific division, has been named dean of fashion at Parsons the New School for Design.
In his new role, Mr. Collins will oversee the Greenwich Village-based school’s 102-year-old fashion curriculum, which now includes undergraduate and graduate programs in design and marketing. Mr. Collins has a background that extends from design to business and from luxury to mass market, the dean of Parsons, Tim Marshall, said in a written statement.
