CAPTURING DANCE Artist Ann Scoville attended performances by the American Ballet Theatre, Merce Cunningham Dance Company, and Mark Morris Dance Group for inspiration for the charcoal and gouache drawings and steel sculptures in her new exhibit, “Dancer Drawings.” Through Sunday, October 2, Friday-Monday, 1-6 p.m., Art 101, 101 Grand St., between Berry Street and Wythe Avenue, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, 718-302-2242, free.
LOST IN SPACE Painter Michelle Mackey grew up in Texas, studied in South Carolina and Italy, traveled to New Mexico, and now lives in Brooklyn.
