POSTER CHILD Swann Galleries hosts its annual summer auction of vintage posters, including 150 images of warm-weather vacation destinations, a collection of World War I and World War II posters, and a small group of movie posters recently discovered between the walls of a Pennsylvania home. At left is “Sutro Baths,” a 1900 poster by an unknown artist depicting an elaborate San Francisco bathhouse (est. $10,000-$15,000). Above is a Vienna resort poster (c. 1950, est. $2,000-$3,000).
