TRAVEL TIME An auction of rare travel posters features images of planes, trains, sea travel, and a wide variety of destinations. Three Art Deco depictions of the Hindenburg are offered: Ottomar Anton’s “In 2 Days Across the Atlantic” (c. 1936, $3,000-$4,000), and Jupp Wiertz’s “In 2 Days to North America!” (1936) and “A Pleasant Trip to Germany” ($4,000-$6,000 each). There are also several New York destination posters, including a lithograph advertising the Adirondacks, a 1936 image of Rockefeller Center, and a glowing 1930 view of the New York Central Building.
