HURRICANE HELP Panel discussions, film screenings, and musical concerts by Visible From Space and Zozo Afrobeat are part of the daylong benefit Bridging the Gulf: Thinking Through Katrina. All proceeds go to Scholarship America’s disaster relief fund, which benefits low-income college students displaced by the hurricane. Friday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m., CUNY Graduate Center, 365 Fifth Ave. at 34th Street, $35 suggested donation for an all-day pass, $15 for panels, $15 for film screening, $20 for concert.
