STELL-A-A-A! Comedy Central grants a sneak peek at its brand new show “Stella” with a screening of the first episode one night before the on-air debut. There’s no Marlon Brando in this production, but the show does star three veterans of the 2001 hit movie “Wet Hot American Summer”: director David Wain, writer/actor Michael Showalter, and actor Michael Ian Black. SUBWAY SCREENS On Location, an exhibit at the New York Transit Museum Gallery Annex,explores the history of New York’s public transportation on screen. Drawing on movie clips, photographs, production stills, lobby cards, posters, costumes, and set designs, the exhibit spans from Auguste and Louis Lumiere’s groundbreaking short film “Arrival of a Train” (1895) to the present.
