SUNSCREEN The nonprofit center Solar One presents a solar powered film series at its outdoor eco-theater featuring movies by local directors. Tonight’s selection is “Gotham Fish Tales,” a documentary about the lives of New York City professional fisherman. Director Robert Maass joins several of the film’s subjects for a question-and-answer session after the screening (tonight). Up next: Peter Friedman’s “Mana-Beyond Belief,” about a trip around the world with stops in New Zealand and the House of Representatives (July 28). MNOUCHKINE’S MOLIERE The director of the theater company Theatre du Soleil, Ariane Mnouchkine, discusses her work before a screening of “Au soleil meme la nuit” (1997), a documentary about the company’s production of Moliere’s “Tartuffe” (tomorrow, 3 p.m.). The next day, her rarely shown film “Moliere” (1978), a four-hour examination of the French playwright’s life, is screened as part of the Lincoln Center Festival (Saturday, 1 p.m.). DISABILITIES ON FILM The Brooklyn International Disability Film Festival, the first of its kind to be held in New York, screens full-length features and shorts by and about people with disabilities. The opening night program includes a selection of shorts and the hour-long film “Kiss My Wheels.” The festival commemorates the 15th anniversary of the passage of the Americans With Disabilities Act. Friday, 7-9:30 p.m., Saturday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., 7-9 p.m., Sunday, noon-5 p.m., Long Island University Brooklyn campus, 1 University Plaza, between DeKalb and Flatbush avenues, 718-488-1406, $10 one session, $20 one-day pass, $30 two days, $40 all screenings.
