TEEN ANGST The documentary arts collaborative UnionDocs screens two 45-minute after-school specials from the 1980s. “Schoolboy Father” features a very young Rob Lowe as a boy whose trip to summer camp ends in serious complications (tonight). “Ace Hits the Big Time” is about a Manhattan high schooler who is urged to join a tough gang (tomorrow). Both films feature Important Lessons. Both screenings: 8:30 p.m., UnionDocs, 322 Union Ave. at South First Street, between Maujer and Ten Eyck streets, Brooklyn, $5 suggested donation.
POLANSKI IN THE PARK The Socrates Sculpture Park presents Polish Night as part of its Outdoor Cinema series. The evening includes a screening of “Knife in the Water,” the 1962 psychological drama that was Roman Polanski’s first feature-length movie. The Komeda Project performs Polish tunes, and a variety of Polish delicacies such as grilled kielbasa with hot sauerkraut, pierogis, and stuffed cabbage are served. Tonight, 7 p.m., Socrates Sculpture Park, Long Island City, Queens, 32-01 Vernon Blvd. at Broadway, 718-956-1819, free.
