DA-DUM, DA-DUM The Bryant Park Summer Film Festival closes out its season with “Jaws” (1975), Steven Spielberg’s thriller starring a giant shark that made beachgoers think twice about taking a dip. This year marks the film’s 30th anniversary. Tonight, lawn opens at 5 p.m., movie begins at dusk, Bryant Park, between 40th and 42nd streets and Fifth and Sixth avenues, 212-512-5700, free.
FRONTIER FREAKS Director Robert Downey makes an appearance at a HOWL! Film Festival screening of his counter-cultural classic “Greaser’s Palace” (1972). The film sets the return of Christ in a Wild West frontier town. Tonight, 7 p.m., Two Boots Pioneer Theater, 155 E. 3rd St. at Avenue A, 212-591-0434, $9 general, $6.50 students and seniors.
