MIND YOUR P’S AND Q’S The latest incarnation of the classical music parody P.D.Q. Bach, created by Peter Schickele, is a 40-year “retrogressive.”The program features highlights from the series history, including “Two Madrigals From ‘The Triumphs of Thusnelda,'” the lively “Liebeslieder Polkas,” and the madrigal “Two Hearts, Four Lips, Three Little Words.” Performers include the Canticum Novum Singers under Harold Rosenbaum and the Armadillo Quartet. MERRY MARIONETTES The Czechoslovak-American Marionette Theater presents “Christmas Carol, Oy! Hanukkah, Merry Kwanzaa, Happy Ramadan,” a modern adaptation of the Dickens classic. Puppet master Vit Horejs directs and performs with almost 40 different marionettes. Holiday songs are in Czech, English, Hebrew, and Swahili.
