The first of six summer sing-alongs put on by the St. George’s Choral Society features Harold Rosenbaum conducting Bach’s “Cantata 4” and Britten’s “Rejoice in the Lamb.” Admission includes a reception and use of a score. OLD FOGERTY?
The former lead singer and songwriter for Creedence Clearwater Revival, John Fogerty, plays a solo show at Irving Plaza. Since the breakup of Creedence in 1972, Fogerty has twice dropped out of the music business for a decade or more, but he returned each time with new material and the same gritty baritone.
