The Combined Michigan Youth Ensemble and the Archdiocese of Detroit Festival Chorus perform a concert titled “Our American Music Heritage.” Norah Duncan IV conducts the program, which includes compositions by Harold Arlen, Stephen Sondheim, and others. SAX MAN
Alto and soprano saxophonist Kenny Garrett performs with his quartet on the Oval Lawn at Madi son Square Park. Mr. Garrett has collaborated with a variety of musicians, including the rapper Guru and the players at the New Jersey Symphony.
