SUNSET SOUNDS The Sunset Music Series begins its 11th season with a performance by the folk duo Ellsworth & Hicks and the guitarist Bill Kirchen. Also scheduled to perform in the series are the Hunger Mountain Boys (Friday, July 15) and 4th St. Niteowls (July 29). Tomorrow, 8-11 p.m., Waterfront Museum, 290 Conover St. at Pier 45, Brooklyn, 718-624-4719, $10 general, $6 children.
BULGARIAN VOICES The New York City-based women’s vocal ensemble Yasna Voices performs village-style Bulgarian music along with traditional songs from Europe and North America. Light refreshments are served. Saturday, 7 p.m., Hollenback Community Garden, Washington Avenue between Green and Gates avenues, Brooklyn, 718-789-3765, free.
