DAY AT NIGHT The funk and R&B group Morris Day and the Time perform in Brooklyn. Established by Prince in 1981, the ensemble puts on a theatrical, over-the-top show. The Brooklyn-based funk group Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings also performs (Saturday, 7:30 p.m., $20, $30, and $35).A screening of the musical “Purple Rain” (1984), in which Mr. Day has a role, follows the concert. The movie is based on Prince’s rags-to-riches life story (Saturday, 11 p.m., $8).
