BEAT SPIRIT The HOWL! Festival of East Village Arts celebrates the 50th anniversary of Allen Ginsberg’s beat epic with a five-part poetry festival including Turkish, Spanish, and Chinese translations of “Howl.” The Gay Men’s Choir performs “Footnote to Howl,” and the audience can join in a group reading. Tomorrow, 6-9 p.m., Tompkins Square Park, South Stage, enter at Avenue A and 9th Street, free.
