SECOND TIME AROUND India-born writer Kiran Desai reads from her second novel, “The Inheritance of Loss” (Atlantic Monthly Press), which focuses on a remote corner of India and an immigrant son struggling to succeed in America. Afterward, writers Suketu Mehta and Sean Wilsey join her to discuss the challenges of meeting expectations in writing a second novel. The reading and talk are presented in assocation with the South Asian Journalists Assocation.
