TEEN ANGST KGB Bar presents readings by writers who frequently explore the lives of adolescent girls. Heidi Julavits reads from “The Uses of Enchantment: A Novel” (Doubleday), about a 16-year-old boarding school student, Mary Veal, who disappears for one month only to return mysteriously claiming amnesia. Lisa Moore, who reads from “Alligator” (Grove), her novel about a mother and daughter who cannot overcome the grief over the sudden death of their respective spouse and stepfather.
