Chad Beckim’s first play, “A Matter of Choice,” addresses the construction of a subway line on Second Avenue. When three roommates are forced to abandon their Manhattan apartment, they must choose between fighting or fleeing. John Gould Rubin directs the Partial Comfort production. IVES LEAGUE
Lee Blessing’s “Going to St. Ives” is the final production in Primary Stages’ 20th anniversary season. The two-person drama follows the mother of a sub-Saharan African dictator. Maria Mileaf directs.
