MURDER MUSICAL “Thrill Me” sets the story of the Leopold and Loeb murders to song. Stephen Dolginoff’s musical drama is set in 1924 Chicago, when two privileged childhood friends set out to commit the perfect crime. Matt Bauer and Doug Kreeger star in and Michael Rupert directs the York Theatre Company production. Through Saturday, June 25, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 8 p.m., Wednesday, 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., Friday, 8:30 p.m., Saturday, 5 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., Saint Peter’s, Citigroup Center, 619 Lexington Ave. at 54th Street, 212-868-4444, $55 general, $20 students on the day of the performance.


IMMACULATE CONCEPTION? In William Leavengood’s “Little Mary,” a teenager claims to have been impregnated by God, a la Mary, and two Catholic leaders struggle over the meaning of her story. Ron Orbach stars as Bishop Peter Tivoli, a progressive church leader who has transformed his California mission into a farming collective. Cardinal-Dean Victorio Gian (Jeremy Lawrence) encounters the insistent girl when he is dispatched to the scene by the Vatican. Jessica Kubzansky directs. BLACK BOX IN BROOKLYN The off-off Broadway Gallery Players present the Black Box New Play Festival, which spotlights tristate playwrights during four weekends of themed performances. First up is “Brooklyn Plays, Brooklyn Playwrights,” a collection of five short plays (tomorrow-Sunday). The festival closes with “The Sand Box,” a selection of plays for families and children (Thursday, June 23-Sunday, June 26).
