GROUNDBREAKERS’ READINGS Three new plays premiere during the terraNOVA Collective’s Groundbreakers reading series. All of them were developed over the past season in the weekly Groundbreakers workshops of playwrights and actors. First up is R.A. Carlsen’s “Eshcaton,” about the pro-life daughter of a rebellious hippie (tonight and Thursday, 7 p.m.). Up next: Kate McGovern’s “Blue Before Morning” (tomorrow and Friday, 7 p.m.) and James Carter’s “Family Wayward” (Wednesday and Saturday, 7 p.m.). KENNEDY ON STAGE “RFK,” a play written and performed by Jack Holmes, tells the story of Robert F. Kennedy after his older brother was assassinated in 1963. Larry Moss directs. ENGLISH ‘THIEF’ Sholem Asch’s “Motke Thief” makes its English-language debut almost 90 years after premiering in Yiddish.The play was adapted to English by Caraid O’Brien and is directed by Aaron Beall.
