B61 AND BEYOND Urban geographer Jack Eichenbaum conducts a tour along the East River’s industrial waterfront, to Red Hook from Long Island City. One leg of the tour takes place aboard the B61, “one of New York City’s most fascinating bus routes.” There are stops for walks in Long Island City, Greenpoint-Williamsburg, Vinegar Hill-DUMBO, and Red Hook. Saturday, 3 p.m., 718-694-1867, $20 general, $15 members, reservations required. Note: Purchase of an unlimited Metro-Card is recommended.
