Blasts Kill 39 in Western India

AHMADABAD, India (AP) – Police says that 39 people have been killed in the serial blasts that hit the western Indian city of Ahmadabad.
According to the latest details available at Ahmadabad city’s police control room today another 110 people have been wounded in the 16 blasts that went off in several neighborhoods of the busy city on yesterday evening.
Yesterday’s blasts came a day after seven small-intensity explosions hit the southern technology hub of Bangalore killing two people.
Several Indian cities have been hit by serial blasts in recent months. The attacks that have been blamed on Islamic militants.
