TEL AVIV, Israel — Palestinian Arab leaders will ask for about $5.5 billion to resurrect their economy when they meet with donor countries in Paris in two weeks, the Palestinian Authority’s planning minister, Samir Abdallah, said. Palestinians will propose a three-year plan that seeks funds to establish a stable government, strengthen security forces, repair damaged infrastructure, and create jobs in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, Mr. Abdallah said yesterday. The money will be used to “rehabilitate its institutions and bolster the deteriorated Palestinian economy,” Mr. Abdallah said.
