NYC Comptroller Mark Levine’s Broken Pledge on Israel Bonds Will Fuel BDS, Predecessor Tells the Sun

|Tehran’s widely reported internal divisions might in fact be part of a delay tactic, an Iranian source tells the Sun.

While a two-week ceasefire was scheduled to expire on Wednesday evening, President Trump announced an indefinite extension on Tuesday. He cited the fact that talks at Islamabad between Iranian and American diplomats were hinged on a decision by a “fractured” Tehran leadership whether to participate.
“Based on the fact that the government of Iran is seriously fractured,” Mr. Trump writes, and on a request from Field Marshal Asim Munir of Pakistan, “we have been asked to hold our attack on the country of Iran until such time as their leaders and representatives can come up with a unified proposal.”
Vice President Vance, special envoy Steve Witkoff, and Mr. Trump’s son in law, Jared Kushner, were initially scheduled to travel to the Pakistani capital over the weekend. Now their trip is indefinitely postponed.
