WASHINGTON — Senator McCain has won the Virginia Republican primary in an unexpectedly close race with Michael Huckabee. The victory means all 60 of the national convention delegates at stake go to the front-runner.
Mr. McCain is also hoping to defeat Mr. Huckabee in Maryland and the District of Columbia tonight in the so-called Potomac Primary.
