4-Year-Old Boy Struck, Killed by SUV

A 4-year-old boy was struck and killed yesterday by a yellow sport utility vehicle in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn, police said.
James Javarrice was hit while crossing Baltic Street at 3:38 p.m. when a Hummer made a right turn off Third Avenue, police said. The SUV also struck an 18-year-old woman. Both were rushed to Methodist Hospital, where Javarrice was pronounced dead, police said.
