Brooklyn Janitor Arrested In Rape of 8-Year-Old

A janitor at a Brooklyn elementary school was arrested yesterday for raping an 8-year-old female student, police officials said.
Francis Evelyn, 58, was charged with rape in the first degree, criminal sex act in the first degree, sexual abuse in the first degree, and endangering the welfare of a child.
The victim, a student at P.S. 91 in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, said Mr. Evelyn had committed sexual acts with her more than four times since February 1st, police said.
